24.11.5일 치러진 미국 대통령 선거에서 공화당(Republican Party)의 도널드 트럼프(Donald Trump, 1946년 출생)/J.D.밴스(J.D.Vance, 1984년 출생) 후보가 선거인단 538명 중 312명(57.99%), 전국 득표 75,518,895표(50.2%)를 차지하여 47대 대통령/부통령으로 당선됐다.

투표율은 64.52%로 2020년의 66.92%보다 2.40% 줄었고, 민주당(Democratic Party)의 카멀라 해리스(Kamala Harris, 1964년 출생)/팀 월즈(Tim Walz, 1964년 출생) 후보는 선거인단 226명(42.01%), 전국 득표 72,372,332표(48.2%)를 얻었다.

미국의 45대(2017~2020) 대통령이었던 도널드 트럼프가 47대 대통령(2025~2028)으로 다시 돌아왔고, 미국 국민은 America First를 통한 Make America Great Again을 다시 선택한 것이다.
